Raymond Cruz, Breaking Bad actor, arrested for allegedly splashing water on a woman

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Raymond Cruz, actor of Breaking Bad, was arrested on Monday on charges of splashing water on a woman. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department stated that officers responded at 10:40 a.m. to a call about a disturbance between the two in the Silver Lake neighborhood.
Cruz, best known for playing drug dealer Tuco Salamanca in AMC’s Breaking Bad, was taken into custody after officers arrived and transported to jail. According to released records, he has since been released but must appear in court on October 1.
Raphael Berko, Cruz’s representative, issued a statement to Entertainment Weekly denying that Cruz intentionally splashed water, calling the allegation “ridiculous and dangerous.”
In another statement to People magazine, Berko said Cruz had been washing his car outside his Los Angeles home when three unidentified women parked their vehicle “half an inch” from his. Cruz allegedly asked them to move their car, but they refused and began filming him.
The representative added: “Raymond asked them to stop recording, and when he turned toward them while washing his car to tell them not to film, some water from the hose hit the front of his car and then splashed onto theirs.”
Regarding the arrest, Berko said: “Raymond is grateful to all the LAPD officers because during the five hours he was in custody, they treated him with great kindness and respect and reassured him.”
Beyond seasons one and two of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, Cruz is also known for the series The Closer.
